Home is a concept that has drawn me to real estate over and over. I nearly bought my first house at 18, a downtown “For Sale By Owner” listed for $185,000. I remember the owners intended to use a Real Estate Agent to list the property instead of doing it all themselves; but they would entertain an offer from me within a week if I could get one together. I scrambled, and ultimately never put an offer down. Even before that, I recall Sunday drives to visit Bend properties for sale, with the local “Tour of Homes” being the highlight. In particular, my mother loved engaging real estate as a hobby, and she loved listening to people talk about their real estate stories. She saw it as community. Because of her influence I’ve always sought jobs that serve the local area, from a FedEx delivery driver to Sisters, to a Medic in Madras, and a Firefighter in Bend.
I understand Central Oregon. I have worked in the local insurance industry, banking, and staffing/recruiting which has taught me the local economy and its quirks. I know hot areas and up and coming neighborhoods, and tid-bits like the outdoor tomato season is longer near Pilot Butte. I have worked in high demand sales and negotiations in International Association Of Firefighter affairs and with local companies such as Breedlove Guitars as a Regional Sales Manager. I hold a Masters in Business Administration with a focus in Communication from my undergraduate studies at OSU-Cascades. I believe the representation of a real estate agent should offer you local expertise, with transactional excellence and client satisfaction as foundational. That means I work tirelessly to make your home buying or selling process as efficient, stress-free and lucrative for you as possible.
